FINALLY! AFTER WEEKS AND WEEKS!! THE MUGS CAME HOME AND WE CELEBRATED!!!
Dad got his fish, Mom got her garden, Sis got her giraffe, and Bro got his cobra. YAY!
My cobalt blue crochet slab bowl was finished as well. I love it!
I also created a slab bowl with my custom linoleum Koi stamp I carved, as well as embarking on a special St.Patrick’s Day present for my mother who is born on St. Patrick’s Day! I custom designed shamrock stamps out of polymer clay. In the next few weeks, I hope to make a shamrock indoor window box to plant flowers in.
Are you wondering about the strange photo of the woman with the bag on her head?
My pottery instructor, Rhea Del Rosario, stuck a bag over one of my classmates head. I swear she actually told her to use “THE FORCE!” She told this woman she would better be able to center and throw the clay if she was feeling and not seeing. Rachel was brave enough to try it, God Bless her, and believe it or not, she said it worked!
You never know what you’ll run into at Plum Pottery East…..if not anything, then at least a good chuckle!
It felt good to see some of my projects come to fruition as well as taking on the new. It is an ever going cycle in pottery class. Something started something complete. Fun. Fun. Fun.
