I met the woman who owns the cottage. She told me it was originally built as an outhouse–his and hers! Many, many years later (I imagine it was moved to its current spot), it was a tiny little toy store. Now it’s a storage shed. I have a lot of photos and was hoping to paint a watercolor of it at some point. You’ve really captured the charm of it!
After such a rough winter, isn’t the island calling??? I can’t wait to get out there!!! Jill, get painting and send me a photo when you do!
