For those of you not in the US, Dunlop is a tire company and in the US we have a joke that some people just might be carrying an extra tire around on their person. And also there’s “Dunloped over the belt” describing that lovely piece of flesh that hangs over a man or woman’s pant waist. The “midriff bulge” is another great term for it.
Alright, I won’t say I am that bad, but my pants have been feeling a little bit tight lately.
I hate exercising and I despise working out. I don’t diet either. I’ve been pretty lucky in that I just try very hard not to change my routine (no highs then lows – no bingeing no fasting). I’ve kept the same routine and body weight for about 20 years. But, times they are a changing… I’m getting close to 40 and I can feel my metabolism changing. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be able to get away with my routine for much longer…
I do have a solution though. It is Winsor Pilates 20 Minute Workout. I am telling you Mari Winsor’s 20 minute workout is the bomb! I have been doing this same darn workout for so long, I actually have it on video tape!
Within 3 twenty-minute sessions I feel like I have gained control over my abs again. By 6 weeks, I feel ready to don the dreaded swim suit! That is why with the slightest tinge of spring in the air, I figured I’d better dust off that workout video.
This is not an infomercial. You do what works for you and I’ll do what works for me, but I did take this on as a project today. I know this workout inside out and backwards and I’m at that point where if I have to go through the explanation of every aspect of Pilates one more time, I’m going to lose it!
So I came up with an idea. I made myself a Mari Winsor 20 minute work-out board. This way I don’t have to listen to all the chit-chat and even better, I am going to see if I can get this work out to 15 minutes! This way I’ll wake up ever so slightly earlier and fit it in before I start my day. Ha! I can’t wait to see if it works. I need it to work!
Humor is my best motivator, so my daughter and I made Mari yelling silly fat jokes at the top. I’m pretty sure she’d be appalled, but this board is for me and I will get a good chuckle every time I see it!

My 8-year-old decided to join me today because she said she ate too many cream puffs at her MeMe and Pop Pop’s house yesterday! It didn’t take long before we were laughing our heads off. She even rolled off the bed at one point!
So there you go. Winsor’s 20 minute work out definitely works and a great laugh helps along the way!
